The General Practitioner is responsible for providing high-quality primary healthcare services, including the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of a wide range of medical conditions. The GP plays a pivotal role in promoting health, managing chronic diseases, and coordinating patient care while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all age groups. Conduct detailed patient assessments, physical examinations, and medical evaluations. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Promote preventive healthcare through screening, vaccination, and health education initiatives. Identify patients requiring specialist referral and coordinate continuity of care. Interpret laboratory, radiology, and diagnostic test results. Manage common medical emergencies and stabilize patients when required. Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records.
Ensure adherence to infection prevention, patient safety, and quality standards. Participate in multidisciplinary care discussions and quality improvement initiatives. Support organizational goals through effective utilization of healthcare resources. Participate in rostered shifts and on-call duties as required.
Qualifications
Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, MD, or equivalent). Completion of an accredited internship program. Eligibility for or possession of a valid DOH License as General Practitioner. Minimum of 2–3 years of post-internship clinical experience. Experience in primary care, family medicine, emergency medicine, or internal medicine settings.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and patient engagement abilities. Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
