Job description
NAES Corporation is seeking an Auxiliary Operator to support operations at the Altavista Biomass Power Station.
The Altavista Biomass Power Station is a 51 MW renewable energy facility in the Lynchburg, Virginia region, near the Blue Ridge Mountains. The facility uses two B&W boilers, a Mitsubishi steam turbine, and an Alstom generator to produce electricity from biomass feedstocks. NAES has a long-standing operating relationship with the utility that owns the station, which considers the plant a valuable resource in its long-range plans.
This position offers a base pay rate ranging from $27.88 to $33.48per hour, along with eligibility for an annual performance bonus.
