Job Summary

The Junior Varsity Boys Soccer Head Coach is responsible for leading and developing a competitive and supportive program for student-athletes. This role focuses on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and preparing players for advancement to the varsity level.

Requirements

/ Qualifications Prior soccer coaching experience at the high school level or higher is preferred, though qualified candidates with comparable experience are encouraged to apply. • NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching & the CA State Component
• Concussion Certificate
• Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate
• Valid CPR Certificate
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Heat Acclimatization Certificate
• TB test
• Guidelines for the Workplace & Youth Sports Protocol & Recommendations (link will be provided)
• Mandated Reporter (Child Abuse Certificate)
• Fingerprint clearance (once hired, the applicant will receive an appointment from Human Resources for the fingerprint process) Comments and Other Information The salaries to be paid for extra duty assignments are based on a percentage of Column Il of the existing salary schedule. Internal candidates will be considered first with Certificated personnel being priority followed by classified and other personnel.
