Medical Assistant I

Medical Assistant Location: Doylestown, PA 18901 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Doylestown, PA. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and medical histories. Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures. Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed. Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records accurately. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment following infection control protocols.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Handle administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and insurance verification.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus. Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. CPR certification is preferred or willingness to obtain. Work Environment This position is based in a medical office located in Doylestown, PA. The role requires standing for extended periods, occasional lifting, and direct patient interaction.
