Substitute Bus Driver

SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVER SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVER CALLOWAY COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION POSITION: SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVER CLASSIFICATION: SUBSTITUTE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Any combination equivalent to: high school diploma, G.E.D. Certificate or demonstrate progress toward a G.E.D. Certificate.
2. Must have a valid Kentucky driver’s license. REPORTS TO: Director of Transportation JOB GOAL: To provide safe and efficient transportation so that students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the District’s curriculum and extracurricular programs. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITES:
3. Obey all traffic laws.
4. Maintain, control, and manage appropriate student behavior.
5. Report any disciplinary issues to Principal and Director of Special Education.
6. Maintain assigned schedule.
7. Notifies the proper authority in case of mechanical failure, absence or lateness.
8. Discharges student at assigned place.
9. Reports all accidents and completes required reports.
10. Transports only authorized student(s) and other personnel.
11. Arrive punctually for all assigned duties.
12. Act in accordance with the by-law and policies as set forth by the Calloway County Board of Education, Kentucky Revised Statutes, and Kentucky Administrative Regulations.
13. Provide delegated health service, including the administration of medication; the operation, maintenance, or health care through the use of medical equipment; or the administration of clinical procedures after being trained to perform the specific health service by a licensed health care professional.
14. Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
15. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
