Data Analyst - Global Payment - Singapore Open - Global Payment

The Global Payment Tech team is the core engine powering ByteDance's global payment and financial services, spanning payment acquiring, wallets, financial products, insurance, and foreign exchange for users and merchants worldwide.

We span engineering, data, and AI, building high-concurrency, highly available systems across multi-currency, multi-market complexity, and embedding AI into risk control, credit decisioning, and operations automation.

You will grow cross-disciplinary expertise at the intersection of payments, finance, and AI.

• Own end-to-end analytics for global payments, including metrics system design, business iteration diagnosis and A/B experiment assessment.
• Lead deep-dive analytics initiatives, translate analytical findings into actionable insights and optimization levers to drive sustained business growth and operational improvement for global payments.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related quantitative disciplines.
• Hands-on proficiency in SQL, Hive, Python, Spark and other tools for data analysis and experimentation.
• Solid theoretical foundation in statistics, data analysis methodologies and experimental design.
• Exceptional logical reasoning and data acumen, with strong problem-framing capabilities. Demonstrated product intuition and independent thinking, able to derive business insights from both product and data perspectives, with a strong data-driven mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Quick learner with intellectual curiosity and self-direction; proactively keeps up with cutting-edge analytical methodologies and industry best practices.
• Strong ownership, effective cross-team communication, positive mindset and excellent teamwork skills. Prior analytics experience in payments, financial services, credit or related domains is preferred.
