Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation: Set up, run, and monitor high-speed paper-converting machinery, including line embossers ( gofrador ), perforation assemblies, and core-making equipment ( tubera ). Quality & Inspections: Perform routine visual checks ( autocalidades ) to ensure finished products meet quality parameters. Basic Maintenance & Line Support: Check oil reservoirs, conduct basic lubrication checks, and assist technicians with mechanical format changeovers.

Log Management: Complete daily production logs tracking scrap, uptime, and parameters; update plant visual whiteboards. Safety & Teamwork: Maintain a clean work area, identify station hazards, and communicate operational statuses across shifts.

Qualifications

& Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred ( Secundaria completa ). Experience: Experience operating machinery in manufacturing, assembly, or industrial production environments preferred. Bilingual Preferred: Basic communication skills in English and Spanish are a plus. Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand and walk during 12-hour plant shifts, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, and work safely around automated manufacturing equipment.
