We are currently seeking an experienced Resort Maintenance Technician to help keep our property operating at the highest standards.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a skilled facilities team responsible for maintaining guest rooms, public spaces, and essential resort systems. Your work will directly support operations, housekeeping, and front-line teams, ensuring everything runs safely, smoothly, and professionally. You’ll work in a diverse, multicultural environment where teamwork, mutual respect, and communication are essential.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For Experience: 1+ year in maintenance, preferably in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment Education: High school diploma or equivalent Technical Skills: Working knowledge of routine repairs, maintenance procedures, and building systems Safety: Understanding of OSHA standards and safe work practices Professional Traits: Self-motivated, dependable, solutions-focused, and detail-oriented Cultural Awareness: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment with strong communication and respect for others Location Requirement: Must be able to live and work on Mackinac Island year-round What We Offer We invest in hospitality professionals who take pride in their work and thrive in team-focused environments.
