Referrals Lead
Job description
The Referrals Lead serves as a subject matter expert in referrals protocols, insurance plans, and medical terminology, allowing them to effectively assist and educate team members in processing referrals with accompanying documentation. They also play an active role in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives.
Strong communication skills are essential, as this position routinely interacts with Referrals Specialists, leadership, patients, medical office staff, and insurance companies.
