Work Overview The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists in the implementation of occupational therapy services to patients in accordance to the plan of care and under the direction and supervision of a qualified occupational therapist.

Key Responsibilities

Plans activities and provides therapeutic services for occupational therapy Maintain a caseload/productivity of at least 33 visits weekly Records type of treatment and patient's reaction to it in patient notes, which are written on the day of the visit and incorporated in the patients record weekly Follow guidelines for supervision as outlined by the State Board for Occupational Therapy Track and follow authorized visits according to what had been allowed by insurance and in plan of care Benefits Benefits are offered to full time employees who work 30 hours or more a week.
