Certified Nursing Assistant

We are looking for a CNA . We run 12 hour shifts 6a-6p and 6p-6a We also have a shower aide position open 8 hour days.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. High school diploma or equivalent.Basic understanding of patient care and safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a healthcare or manufacturing setting. Additional certifications in CPR or first aid. Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing staff. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient care areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility. Skills: The required skills for this position include strong communication abilities, which are essential for interacting with patients and the healthcare team. Attention to detail is crucial for monitoring patients' conditions and maintaining accurate records.

Empathy and compassion are vital in providing emotional support to patients, enhancing their overall experience. Time management skills are necessary to efficiently assist multiple patients with their daily needs. Preferred skills, such as bilingual communication, can significantly improve patient interactions and ensure that all individuals receive the care they deserve.
