SEO Website Development Specialist

Operating on an independent contractor basis for an estimated 10 hours per month, this position delivers targeted technical oversight and search visibility outcomes for an established provider of professional development training and accredited qualifications across medical, first aid, and mental health programmes. The primary objective is to maintain high-performing, accessible, and responsive user journeys across accredited training landing pages through structured technical SEO, on-page development, and continuous performance monitoring.

Working remotely with full schedule autonomy, the specialist maintains complete commercial accountability for fulfilling agreed deliverable packages and satisfying rigorous Service Level Agreement (SLA) turnaround benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

Technical SEO & Site Architecture Optimisation Audit and optimise site architecture across medical, first aid, and mental health course pathways. Identify and resolve indexing bottlenecks, metadata errors, and crawl budget inefficiencies. Deploy technical SEO updates to elevate organic search visibility. Conduct regular site crawls and maintain site health with zero unresolved critical indexing blockers.

Scope of Services: On-Page Development & Course Pathway Enhancements Implement technical and on-page website development adjustments to support user journeys, mobile responsiveness, and page speed. Maintain core educational landing pages, web elements, and course structure updates within the monthly capacity. Optimise educational landing pages for search accessibility and user engagement.

Scope of Services: Digital Marketing Alignment & Technical Issue Resolution Align technical web elements and on-page structures with broader digital marketing and commercial goals. Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks, broken links, and site performance slowdowns. Initiate critical technical site defect resolution within 24 hours of notification.

Thoroughly test all code, metadata, and structural modifications prior to live deployment. Deliverables & Reporting Provide monthly site crawl and technical health audits. Deploy approved technical SEO and metadata adjustments within 5 business days of monthly review. Deliver monthly search performance logs and completed outcome summaries on schedule.

Essential Requirements Demonstrable commercial experience in search engine optimisation (SEO) and technical website development. Proven track record in auditing site architecture, resolving crawl budget inefficiencies, and executing on-page metadata optimisation. Established technical capability in on-page website development to improve site speed, mobile responsiveness, and user pathways.

Ability to operate autonomously as an independent commercial contractor managing agreed deliverables within an estimated 10-hour monthly capacity. Ownership of necessary technical infrastructure, including computer hardware, diagnostic tools, and secure internet connectivity.
