Job description


**Responsibilities**

Perform advanced surgical procedures for retinal diseases including retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other vitreoretinal disorders. Conduct comprehensive retinal examinations and diagnostic testing to develop individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards. Stay current with the latest advancements in retinal surgery and participate in continuing education. Educate patients and their families about diagnosis, treatment options, and post-operative care.

**Qualifications**

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology with fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery. Valid medical license to practice in the state of Texas. Proven experience performing complex retinal surgeries. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
