Learn more at www.macleanpower.com Tool and Die Maker 1 - 2790 Builds and modifies tools, dies, jigs, molds and fixtures using precision bench and machining operations with the assistance and supervision from a level 3 or 4 Tool and Die Maker Job Duties Assist Tool and Die Makers with their work Basic machining and grinding.

Grind and adjust different parts to properly fit them together Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.) Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned Experience and Education Perform work under Tool and Die Maker supervision Have beginning to basic knowledge of mills, saws lathes and grinders Possess basic working knowledge of subject matter Currently going to Tool and Die school through TCAT or equivalent, or r ecently finished Tool and Die school through TCAT or equivalent Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff 0 to 2 years of relevant tool and die experience Competencies/ Skills Ability to interpret work instructions Ability to follow written and verbal directions Intermediate verbal and written communication skills Able to use and read measuring equipment Manual dexterity Detail-oriented Organizational skills EOE-Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran Various agencies of the United States Government require employers to maintain information on applicants pertaining to factors such as race, sex, and type of position for which an individual applies.
