School age teacher

About Us

At Stepping Stones, we provide a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children ages 6 weeks-12 years old. Our mission is to support the growth and development of each child through hands-on activities, educational programs, and creative play.

Responsibilities

Create and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development. Drive a 15 passenger van Take children on lots of summer field trips Supervise and support children in group settings and during recreational activities. Foster positive relationships with children and encourage them to express themselves.

Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and development. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and productive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (Early Childhood Education degree or certification preferred). Experience working with school-age children in a daycare or educational setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere for children. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
