Security

Job Title: Security Scope: Maintains safe and secure environment for guests and associates by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting interior and exterior of the building, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.

Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers. Maintains a “can do” and a “guests first” attitude at all times; customer service mindset. Resolves guest complaints to the satisfaction of the guest; responds promptly to any guest request for service.

Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures. Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls. Maintains hotel's stability & reputation by complying with legal requirements. Controls traffic by directing drivers/valets guest’s vehicles.

Obtains emergency assistance by sounding alarms. Able to perform Housekeeping and Maintenance duties when requested. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Works as a member of the overall hotel team to ensure that each guest has an experience that exceeds their expectations Arrives at work in a timely fashion in accordance with the posted schedule.

Abides by established uniform guidelines. Attends scheduled training sessions within the hotel as dictated by the brand and the hotel management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

High School Diploma or greater Experience: Minimum of year (2) years’ experience in security. Hotel or Retail experience a plus. Certification: Preferred, but not required. Skills:
