Senior DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer Location : Maidenhead, United Kingdom Experience : 7+ Years Employment Type : Full-time About the Role We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with 7+ years of experience to own and manage day-to-day DevOps activities, including cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployments, monitoring, and automation.

The candidate should be hands-on, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of deployment workflows and troubleshooting technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and related services. Own application deployments and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. Manage GitOps-based deployments using Argo CD and Helm. Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform.

Configure and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts using Grafana. Manage SonarQube integration for code quality checks within CI/CD pipelines. Develop and maintain YAML configurations and shell scripts for automation. Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, access control, and secrets management. Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and pipeline issues, ensuring reliable releases.

Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency. Mandatory Skills 7+ years of experience in DevOps or a related technical role. Working knowledge of AWS, Linux, and networking fundamentals. Hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. Experience with Git, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with GitOps and Argo CD. Basic knowledge of Terraform, YAML, and shell scripting. Familiarity SonarQube, and cloud security practices. Good-to-Have Skills Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Exposure to Grafana and other monitoring tools. Knowledge of additional cloud automation and cloud-native technologies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently, take ownership, and continuously improve DevOps processes.
