Truck and Small Engine Mechanic

Job Details: Salary Range: $20.00 - $26.00Hourly, As a experienced truck and small engine mechanic, you must utilize skills and knowledge in repairing truck engines and small engines. Also, you must be able to repair and maintain pavement marking and striping equipment, required for accomplishing the pavement marking and striping process.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a mechanic, you will be required to maintain the fleet, consisting of diesel, gas and propane fueled engines. Hydraulic line repair experience is necessary as well. Your own tools will be required for this position. Must be willing to work in the field with crews as needed & float between multiple jobsites to support with equipment and keep downtime to a minimum.

Licenses and Certifications Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Working Conditions/Environment Works mostly in doors, but occasionally outdoors in the field, if field repairs are required. Hazards include vehicle traffic, fumes, molten thermoplastic, risk of electrical shock, noise and work at heights from ladders and trucks.

Handles heavy equipment and materials with risks of sprain, cuts, burns, and likelihood of bruises, splinters and other injuries. Responsibilities
