POSITION TITLE: Building Maintenance LOCATION: Region 17 Education Service Center LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: 240 days POSITION SUMMARY: Provide maintenance and support to esc facilities and staff in the efficient operation of esc facilities and grounds POSITION REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: High school diploma or equivalent EXPERIENCE: 2 years custodial or maintenance work preferred SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: none DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.

Maintain all areas of the facilities in a manner that meets statutory requirements and ESC expectations for safe and attractive facilities. 2.Demonstrate appropriate job knowledge. 3.Make the most efficient and effective use of available technology. 4.Compile information and data and produce appropriate documents and reports.

5.Maintain electronic data and physical files. 6.Order and maintain supplies and inventory. 7.Use appropriate tools safely to accomplish the job. 8.Follow ESC policies and procedures. 9.Maintain confidentiality with regard to sensitive or protected information.
