Job description
Reporting to the Director of Plant Operations, the General Maintenance Mechanic/Painter completes a scheduled preventative maintenance program with an emphasis on painted surfaces for their protective and cosmetic qualities. In addition to painting building and material surfaces, this position troubleshoots, maintains and makes general repairs on mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing equipment.
Must be capable of troubleshooting basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical problems and completing tasks like replacing air filters in HVAC units or lightbulbs in sockets.
