In this role, you will be responsible for the G lobal Tax function and associated compliance requirements .

R esponsibilities will includ e direct coordination of all external tax providers who prepare our direct and indirect tax filings and transfer pricing reports , as well as oversight of all global tax planning and advisory projects . Reporting to the Chief Accounting Office r , this individual mus t be US tax technical and have a leve l of knowledge on international tax laws and non-US tax oper ations in orde r to effecti vely partner with ex ternal tax p rovider s and our interna tional a ccountin g tea m s to mana ge glob al tax risk s ac r oss 20 + ju ris dictio ns .

What You'll Do

This role leverages KPMG for tax managed services, which largely entails assisting KPMG with elements of data collection, Planview-KPMG coordination, execution /review of the tax provision, tax compliance and tax planning Aligning with KPMG to c omplet e quarterly and year-end income tax provisions in accordance with US GAAP , and mana gement of requ ests and inq uiries f rom ext ernal audit ors Managing global corporate income tax compliance, indirect tax compliance, and global transfer pricing strategy to comply with US and international tax laws , which involv es co llab or ation with gl obal external tax providers and intern al team s acro ss mul t iple geo gr aph ies Managing tax audits and tax notices and inquiries , whi ch i nclu des a signifi cant volum e of on going con trover sy and notic e volum e in mu ltiple jurisdictions In conjunction with Planview Legal, s upport and develop global tax strategies ; implement appropriate corporate tax planning and inter-company arrangements ; lead M&A related work str eams for tax in cluding p ost -c lose integ ration ; and l ea d ent ity ma na gement and rel ated compl iance filing s Drivin g the usage of A I and aut omation ac ross the tax fun ction , and ow ne rship of key tax systems inclu ding Av ala ra and Av a Tax , as well as inte gration with other relat ed sys tem s including NetS uite Understanding the Company’s products and monitoring transactions to identify potential areas of tax risk or tax opportunity Reporting on tax status and tax initiatives to executive C-suite leadership Partner with FP&A for modeling and forecasting of tax related activities What You'll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax with 12 + years' experience (CPA preferred ) 5+ years of direct leadership experience including managing / developing a global team.

Proficiency with ASC 740, US GAAP, OE C D Transf er P ricing Guid eline s , and international tax principles. Demon strated abili ty to mana ge d ire ct and i ndirect taxes for U S, Ca na da and Austra lia , and col labor ate with in ternal and ex te rn al team s wh o manage tax fil ings i n other jur isdictions Proven experience and success managing third-party tax providers and leading global tax operations.

Proven experience and success building trusted relationships, communicating, and influencing outcomes through executive C-Suite leadership levels.
