A defined path runs from this first day on the job to Master Certified Technician, built entirely through Volkswagen's own training program.

Role Pay Training focus Lube Technician $18 to $20 per hour Volkswagen brand fundamentals, safety systems, repair order basics Certified Technician $21 to $24 flat rate VW scan tools and diagnostic systems Electrical Specialist $25 to $27 flat rate Electrical diagnosis and climate control systems Engine Specialist $27 to $29 flat rate Engine mechanical repair and TDI diesel engines Transmission Specialist $30 to $32 flat rate Automatic and manual transmission repair Chassis Specialist $33 to $34 flat rate Alignment, driver assistance systems, body and chassis High Voltage Technician $35 to $37 flat rate ID.
