The primary focuses of this role are preparing drinks, maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and training new baristas all to ensure smooth coffee shop operations. Responsibilities

Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis. Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done. Approach all tasks with a second mile mindset. Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments. Primary Barista Responsibilities Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and seasonal drinks, adhering strictly to recipe and quality standards.

Sanitation & Cleanliness: Maintain a spotless and sanitary work environment by regularly cleaning the espresso bar, counters, seating areas, utensils, and equipment according to health guidelines. Inventory & Restocking: Keep the coffee shops fully functional by tracking inventory, and stocking cups, lids, syrups, coffee beans, etc....

Training: Prepare new baristas according to all established policies and procedures. Daily Coffee Shop Operations & Guest Experience Guest Engagement: Proactively greet and assist guests in the coffee shop with menu questions, ingredient inquiries, and attraction information. Transaction Execution: Assist guests with their purchases in an efficient and friendly manner by operating the cash register and handling payments accurately.

Operational Flexibility: Execute all tasks and operational directives assigned by management in a supportive and professional manner, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to team unity Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe environment for guests and staff by ensuring walkways are clear of products, boxes, and spills.

And all other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualifications

Requirements

Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith. Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church. Flexibility with schedule that allows working opening and closing shifts on any day of the week and holidays. Customer service skills: friendly and courteous with guests Strong oral communication skills: comfortable giving directions to guests Basic math skills: accuracy in cash and financial transactions with guests Good problem-solving skills and decision-making ability Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand and move about throughout the attraction for the entire length of shift. Bend and lift between 25 to 75 pounds.
