• Red Lion, PA, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent, Salary Range: $19.75 - $25.00Hourly, Job Shift: Second Shift, Job Category: Manufacturing, SUMMARY The Machine Operator is responsible for the overall production and operational maintenance of a highly complex converting machine to include but not limited to: set-up, operation, troubleshooting, training, housekeeping and crew maintenance of machines in designated department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on an assigned machine. Set-up and operate the assigned machine. Process material through machine according to company specifications Ensure all production data is entered appropriately and accurately in the production software Inspect and maintain product quality. Promptly report non-conformances to production management Organize work area and/or move materials as required Comply with all company policies and procedures to include safety and promptly report any and all concerns to management to mitigate risks.

Assists in developing new production techniques that increase efficiency and output. Implement into production and provide training as required. Promptly report any mechanical or electrical concerns related to required maintenance of machines Work with the production management team to consistently achieve performance goals and objectives Special projects and assignments as business dictates SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required.

Associates degree or technical certificate preferred 2-4 years of Machine operation experience Previous experience in a corrugated manufacturing facility preferred Ability to work a flexible schedule Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated understanding of training methods for a production operation Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation Must have attention to detail and focused concentration.

Must be able to complete tasks that require a particular speed or productivity quota. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for a prolonged period as well as bending and stooping regularly. The job duties will require the employee to utilize repetitive fine manipulation with hands.

The employee must use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms.
