Spanish Foreign Language Teacher (PreK - 2nd Grade) Part-Time

St. Helen Catholic School Part-Time Spanish Teacher (PreK3 � 2nd Grade) Position Summary St. Helen Catholic School seeks a Part-Time Spanish Teacher for PreK3 through 2nd grade to support the mission of Catholic education by forming students in Wisdom, Age, and Grace (W.A.G.) The teacher will introduce young learners to Spanish and partner with parents as co-educators.

Primary Responsibilities Community of Faith Support the mission and philosophy of Catholic education Model Gospel values and participate in prayer, liturgy, and school faith life Instructional Process Plan and deliver age-appropriate Spanish lessons through songs, stories, movement, and conversation Assess student progress, keep accurate records, and maintain a weekly-updated teacher web page Classroom Environment Maintain a structured, warm, and respectful classroom Supervise students at all times Interpersonal Relationships Communicate with parents within 24�48 hours and partner with them as co-educators Work collaboratively with administration and colleagues Professional Responsibilities Attend faculty meetings, PLCs, and professional development if necessary Fulfill assigned duties and follow all school and Archdiocesan policies Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; teaching certification preferred Fluency in Spanish and experience working with young children Commitment to Catholic education and mission; practicing Catholics preferred Successful background check and Archdiocesan safe environment requirements
