• West Palm Beach, FL, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $21.30Hourly, Position Overview: The Outreach Educator is responsible for building and managing relationships with child care providers, Pediatricians and other potential sources of referrals within Palm Beach County by completing developmental screens and referrals to qualified children. The Outreach Educator is also responsible for helping the Community Outreach Manager with the development, establishment and implementation of marketing strategies to promote Home. Safe and the Healthy Beginnings system of care. This position is supervised and will work in close collaboration with the Community Outreach Manager to promote the Healthy Beginnings system and the Entry Agency to the community. Here’s what the job involves: Provides developmental screens to children enrolled with designated child care providers, pediatrician offices, different outreach events and appropriate venues. Researches, attends, and participates in community events, fairs, and outreach opportunities to increase public awareness of the Healthy Beginnings system; which may include evening or weekend activities. Tracks and maintains data regarding community events and outreach efforts including but not limited to other agencies in attendance, potential clients reached, and/or additional networking and outreach opportunities. Collaborates with Children’s Services Council and Healthy Beginnings partners to provide a consistent and unified message regarding the Healthy Beginnings system of care. Assists Community Outreach Manager with translating copy/verbiage on marketing materials, PowerPoint presentations, social media and other digital and collateral pieces. : Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services (preferably in a field such as social work, developmental psychology, and/or early childhood education). Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in child welfare, primary prevention services, child development or related field. Schedule includes occasional evening and weekend hours as needed Must be 21 years or older Bilingual English/Creole required. Valid Florida’s driver’s license is required.
