Group Fitness Instructor

Job Title: Group Fitness Instructor Classification: Non-Exempt Role Description Dallas Country Club is seeking a qualified candidates to join our group exercise team. DCC was founded in 1896 and is the most exclusive and prestigious private club in the area. Where we pride ourselves on hiring the best of the best. Candidates need to be knowledgeable, reliable, and enthusiastic.

Candidates must carry their own insurance and be currently licensed to practice. Candidates must have regular availability for classes held 6:00-10:30am, lunchtime, or evenings Monday-Friday. There are several positions open; please ensure your resume/cover letter is clear on which role(s) you are applying for. Current formats include: Aerobic Strength Yoga Mat Pilates Barre Various cardio formats Spin Water Aerobics Key Responsibilities Ability to lead safe, engaging classes for members of varying levels of ability Always demonstrate professionalism - especially in punctuality, responsibility, personal appearance, and proper communication Ability to lead multiple formats is preferred Prepares room and equipment prior to class and properly secures room and equipment following the class; reports equipment and/or facility problems The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and knowledge: Current certification from national certifying body in group exercise aerobics or similar Current liability insurance Current CPR certification At least 2 years group exercise instructor experience Bachelor’s degree in exercise discipline is preferred Energy and personality are essential The ideal candidate will have the following competencies and qualities: Ability to lead safe, engaging classes for members of varying levels of ability Always demonstrate professionalism--especially in punctuality, responsibility, personal appearance, and proper communication Ability to lead multiple formats is preferred Duties require extensive standing and walking.
