Part Time Security Officer

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment for hotel guests, associates, and visitors. Conduct routine patrols of hotel public areas, entrances, parking areas, and other designated locations. Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, disturbances, and guest concerns. Enforce hotel policies regarding property access, safety, and security.

Document incidents, unusual activities, and security concerns in detailed written reports. Assist with emergency response procedures, evacuations, and coordination with emergency services when necessary. Provide a visible security presence while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Assist hotel management with investigations involving lost property, suspicious activity, or policy violations.

Identify potential safety hazards and report maintenance or security concerns promptly. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Work closely with front desk staff, hotel management, and other departments to support hotel operations.

Qualifications

Previous security, loss prevention, or related experience preferred. Strong observation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations. Ability to prepare clear, accurate incident reports. Strong customer service skills and a professional appearance. Ability to stand, walk, and conduct patrols for extended periods.

Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility. CPR, First Aid, or other relevant safety certifications are a plus. JOIN OUR TEAM!!
