JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician LOCATION: LMP plant in Mexico, MO SHIFT: 2nd GENERAL SUMMARY: Provides technical support for all machining and assembly operations, as part of the Operations team, participates in the attainment of department and company goals and demonstrates Spartan’s core operating values through work activities, actions and behaviors.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Computer, Technical, mechanical, mathematical and/or scientific skills Experience in troubleshooting and programming PLC's, CNC’s and electronic equipment. Demonstrated 480 electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience and troubleshooting skills. Basic machining skills (milling, grinding and lathe), and welding skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machine control schematics Strong mechanical skills. Experience with Manufacturing ERP systems (preferred) Must be willing to use. Communication Skills – Verbal, Written, Training, Presenting, etc. Proficient oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate technical information that is relevant and easily understood.

Ability to facilitate problem solving meetings. Problem Solving skills and Decision-Making Skills JOB QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Certifications, Training Required: 2-4 years experience in industrial maintenance; Degree or certificate in related field. Preferred: Die casting industry experience
