Job Summary

You will complete the firmware migration for the Signals device fleet that a paired engineer started earlier in the year. Together you will own the firmware layer end to end, in partnership with the centralized Engineering Services function that handles fleet-wide release automation. Location: ONSITE

Together you will own the firmware layer end to end, in partnership with the centralized Engineering Services function that handles fleet-wide release automation.

Key Responsibilities

Complete the phased migration of Signals device firmware from vendor to internal ownership. Provide on-call coverage and redundancy for the firmware layer. Partner with Engineering Services on unified OTA delivery. Contribute to firmware release process, version control, and rollback discipline. Participate in cross-product firmware standards through the Center of Engineering Excellence.

Required Qualifications 7+ years in embedded firmware engineering. Strong C/C++ and Linux embedded systems experience. OTA update mechanisms and production fleet firmware experience. Comfort joining an in-flight migration and an established codebase.

Nice to Have

IoT or security device fleet experience. Multi-product firmware standards work. Prior work in vendor-to-internal codebase transitions.

Compensation
