Trucking Dispatcher

Trucking Dispatch Greensboro, North Carolina Full-Time Description Givens Transportation is seeking an experienced Trucking Dispatcher to manage and dispatch company drivers operating nationwide. This position oversees day-to-day driver performance while coordinating loads across the country to ensure safe, on-time delivery and excellent service to our customers.

This role requires someone who understands trucking operations, can manage drivers professionally, and can keep freight moving efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch company drivers operating throughout the United States Assign loads based on Hours of Service, driver location, equipment type, and customer needs Monitor shipments and resolve delays, breakdowns, or service issues Supervise driver performance, attendance, and daily activity Issue verbal and written corrective actions when necessary Approve driver timecards and manage driver communication Ensure drivers are compliant with DOT regulations and company safety policies Work with maintenance on equipment issues and scheduling repairs Provide shipment updates to customers when needed Maintain accurate dispatch records and operational reports Qualifications Minimum 3+ years OTR dispatch experience Previous experience supervising drivers Experience using Mc.
