Sartiano's at the Mercer Hotel 99 Prince Street The Role: You are the first impression of the restaurant and set the tone for the guest experience. There will be times you answer the phone, take reservations, and be responsible for seating guests throughout the restaurant. We are looking for candidates that are available to work weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

Warmly greet and welcome guests and escort them to their tables while providing personalized assistance Operate Seven. Rooms reservation platform, keeping the Maître D’ and Management team updated on cancellations, late arrivals, and walk-ins Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings and organize seating for groups with special needs Performs opening and closing duties, as needed Qualifications & Disposition: Must have a minimum 1 year experience as a restaurant host in an upscale or fine dining environment Proficient in Reservation Management platforms Flexible schedule based on the needs of Sartiano's Ability to build professional and respectful relationships with guests Professional, tactful, and well-versed in conflict resolution Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance 401k with employer match Commuter benefits Daily family meal provided Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that are to be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
