RN or LPN - Med/Surg House Float - Nursing Administration

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing nursing care utilizing the nursing process within an assigned unit; observes, assesses, treats and cares for patients demonstrating an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological maturation process. Oversees the work of non-licensed personnel. Employee will be expected to float to Med/Surg departments throughout the hospital as deemed necessary by Nursing Supervisor.

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing # Certification # Licensures: Registered Nurse license#or Licensed Practical Nurse license Required IV Qualified required for LPN # Experience: 1 to 3 years experience preferred 1+ Acute experience required for PRN New Nursing graduates welcome for full-time only
