Our inpatient facility serves voluntary clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff. Positions available: Per diem Benefits: Competitive pay 10 days paid vacation 5 holidays/ 5 sick days per year Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits with NO monthly premium for employee 401K with a company match of up to 3% Accident & life Insurance Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day delivery of patient care. Provides outstanding, individualized resident care and medical support to clients as needed. Prepare and review medical records and nurses' notes to evaluate the resident's physical and emotional status. Provide care according to the Physician's orders, care plans, established standards, policies and procedures. Prepare and monitor patient administered medications as ordered by the physician in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies. Monitors and reports adverse reactions to medications and treatment to the RN and/or Physician. Sign, date and perform all charting, record keeping and care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures. Utilizes good infection control procedures. Utilizes behavioral management and crisis intervention techniques. Ensures compliance with State licensing standards and accreditation standards Adheres to and upholds the policies and procedures of the company. Other duties as assigned. Facilitate group therapy sessions. Provide client assistance in crisis intervention situations. Maintains EMR. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists.

Requirements

Current Psychiatric Technician (PT) license or LVN Must have a valid Driver’s License. Qualifications

Required education and experience: Current Psychiatric Technician (PT) license Possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent. Familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights. Possess CPR/First Aid certification. Current TB test and health screen Work authorization/security clearance requirements: Valid Driver’s License
