Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? As a Tarper , you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of gypsum wallboard products. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with loading, properly securing and tarping loads, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

With a starting wage of $20.54/hr (and a growth range from $20.54-$23.49), this role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks.

Tarping and Securing – Properly tarp and secure loads to prevent damage and ensure safety compliance. General Labor Tasks – Perform lifting, stacking, and movement of materials as required. Equipment Operation – Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to aid in loading. Equipment Inspection and Maintenance – Inspect tarping materials and report any issues to the supervisor.

Safety and Cleanliness – Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Support to Facility Operations – Assist with production and maintenance tasks as needed. Working Conditions Work in a manufacturing environment exposed to noise, dust, and temperature variations. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Availability for various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Minimum: Education – High school diploma or equivalent. Physical Ability – Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Teamwork & Attention to Detail – Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred: Experience – Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction setting. Skills – Familiarity with securing loads and operating material handling equipment.
