Job description
Provides academic instruction to students enrolled in the Montgomery County Juvenile Court School (MCJC School) serving youth placed in the Center for Adolescent Services (CAS), Nicholas Residential Treatment Center (NRTC), and Detention facilities. Instruction is delivered across a wide range of grade and educational levels from upper elementary through high school in one or more of the following core academic subject areas: • English Language Arts • Mathematics • Science • Social Studies Teachers utilize the Bright Thinker curriculum, Ohio Department of Education standards, and supplemental instructional materials to provide differentiated instruction, facilitate credit attainment, support graduation pathways, and prepare students for successful educational transitions.
