Athletic Event Security Officer

Compensation

is $60 per athletic event. Required Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to successfully complete required school division training for the weapons detection system. Must demonstrate good judgment and the ability to remain calm during potentially stressful situations. Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to work professionally with students, staff, parents, spectators, officials, and law enforcement personnel. Must be dependable and punctual. Must be capable of standing and remaining attentive for extended periods. Must be willing to follow all Mathews County Public Schools policies, athletic event procedures, and security protocols.
