Job Title : Operational Excellence Engineer Reporting To: Managing Director Work Schedule: Onsite – Vilnius, LT Individual contributors with a professional specialty or multi-disciplinary skillset acquired through professional development. May direct the work of other lower-level professionals in the context of a project, process, or program.

The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation, or delivery of projects, processes, or programs using knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education or equivalent work experience. This job family is responsible for production activities in a manufacturing or field site environment to optimize resource use, minimize costs, and maintain quality standards.

Activities include planning, managing, and reviewing production operations to achieve output and quality objectives; undertaking production activities to transform tangible inputs (e.g., raw materials or semi-finished goods) or intangible inputs (e.g., ideas, information, know how) into finished products or services; developing and implementing production schedules to ensure the effective use of labor, tools, plant, and equipment; operating, monitoring, and maintaining machines and production equipment; and skilled trades and lower-level apprentice craft work.

Positions in this sub-family focus on manufacturing operational improvement and cost savings to improve the organization's profitability and efficiency. Activities include analyzing designs, methods, and internal manufacturing processes; developing strategies and initiatives for operational efficiency; implementing process improvements and changes in product design and manufacturing methods; and implementing continuous improvement initiatives using various lean methodologies and principles (e.

g., 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, etc.)

Overview

Individual contributor that works under moderate supervision. Applies practical knowledge of job and subject area. Has solid knowledge of theories, policies, products, and/or procedures. Knowledge base is expanding through work experiences. Purpose: Contributes results on larger, moderately complex projects, processes, or programs.

Qualifications/ Experience: Work requires a solid understanding of the theoretical concepts and principles of the discipline. This knowledge is typically acquired through a 4-year university degree and at least 3 years of prior relevant experience. Problem Solving: Problems and issues faced are general, but typically are not complex.

Determining solutions may require the understanding of broader sets of issues and requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment. Communications: Communicates with parties within and outside of own department. Management & Supervision: Works independently with general supervision. Has the authority to interpret or deviate from established policies and procedures without prior approval and/or has the authority to commit company resources in matters that have significant financial impact.

Salary range (before taxes) for this position is: €3 000,00–€3 800,00 The final offer depends on experience and competence.
