Education

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree from an accredited physical therapy program Experience: Prefer experience providing direct service to adults with ABI but not required. PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT: Must be licensed to practice physical therapy in state of Texas. Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association strongly recommended.

Associates degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program. Experience: Prefer experience providing direct service to adults with ABI but not required. SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST: Must be licensed in Texas in Speech Language Pathology with certificate of Clinical Competence.

Master's or Doctoral degree from accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience: Prefers experience providing direct service to adults with ABI but not required. SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT: Must be licensed in Texas as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant Education: Master's or Doctoral degree from accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology.

Requirements
