Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) PRN

We are seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist Assistant, COTA to join our team who is a dynamic clinician and team player. Our facility offers a supportive family environment with a compassionate rehab team which is led by an experienced Director of Rehabilitation. Rehabilitation techs are utilized to assist therapists with resident transport and administrative functions.

The rehab department utilizes Point Click Care for billing and documentation to assist therapists with daily efficiency where quality care remains the primary focus of each therapist. The facility offers in-house comprehensive rehabilitation program where the COTA is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team. Our rehab positions are stable and secure at one location.

• Conducts screenings of residents as scheduled to determine the need for evaluation and/or intervention
• Evaluate residents per physician orders to obtain comprehensive data to be utilized in developing the plan of care
• Provide Physical Therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the plan of care
• Supervision of PTA
• Actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT and facility success JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• A current Florida PTA License
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
