Job description

Job Title: Executive Driver Reporting to: General Manager Location: Kenya Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Education, Experience & Skills Executive Transportation Provide safe, reliable, and professional transportation services for the General Manager and immediate family members as authorized. Ensure punctuality and effective route planning to optimize travel time and accommodate schedule changes.

Transport family members to designated locations including schools, appointments, airports, events, and other approved engagements. Assist with family-related logistics, including collection and delivery of items, documents, and approved errands. Coordinate and monitor vehicle readiness for both business and authorized family use.

Ensure the privacy, security, and confidentiality of the General Manager and family members at all times. Support travel logistics for the General Manager and family, including airport transfers and transportation arrangements. Maintain flexibility to accommodate occasional after-hours, weekend, public holiday, and emergency transportation needs.

Vehicle Management Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness, and safety. Coordinate routine servicing, repairs, licensing, insurance renewals, and statutory inspections. Maintain accurate vehicle records, including mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance, and service schedules. Ensure company vehicles comply with all legal and safety requirements.

Safety, Security & Confidentiality Adhere to all traffic laws and defensive driving practices. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding business discussions, meetings, and sensitive information. Remain vigilant regarding the security and safety of the General Manager and company assets during travel. Report accidents, incidents, or security concerns promptly.

Professional Representation Uphold a professional image through appropriate conduct, grooming, and communication. Build positive working relationships with stakeholders encountered during official duties. Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy at all times.

Requirements

Education

& Experience Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent. Valid driving license with a clean driving record. Defensive Driving and First Aid Certification. Minimum 5 years' experience as an executive, corporate, or VIP driver. Experience supporting senior executives. Strong knowledge of local routes, traffic regulations, and road safety requirements.

Knowledge skills & capabilities Excellent driving skills and road safety awareness. Strong planning and organizational skills. High degree of discretion and confidentiality. Professional appearance and conduct. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Attention to detail and reliability.

Basic vehicle troubleshooting knowledge. Flexibility to work outside normal working hours when required.
