CNA Class and Certification Pathway: You can begin CNA training at age 15 and be eligible for employment as a CNA at age 16. CNA training will include: 75 total hours 20 hours of in-person instruction 39 hours of online coursework 16 hours of supervised practical training at Kittson Healthcare Nursing Home The class is offered through On. Track, a hybrid CNA program. High school students at Roseau High School and Greenbush-Middle River High School can take this course during the school day (when available). Sponsorship is available to cover the cost of the CNA class by Kittson Healthcare. If your CNA certification has expired, you may be eligible to challenge the state exam and continue working as a certified nursing assistant. Department: Nursing Home Supervised By: Director of Nursing (DON) Supervises: None Status: Non-Exempt | Full-Time, Part-Time, or Flex Pay: $17.00 Works Closely With: Staff Nurses, DON, Dietary Staff, Housekeeping Staff, Residents, and Resident Family Members Job Summary: As a Basic Care Aide, you will support the nursing team and work alongside Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to assist residents with daily living activities and provide emotional and physical support.
