What You'll Do

Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with Head Start standards. Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development. Observe and assess children's progress and use assessment data to individualize instruction.

Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Collaborate with. Teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support the success of every child. Maintain accurate classroom records and documentation. Comply with Head Start Performance Standards, state licensing requirements, and program policies.

Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education OR Bachelors Degree in a related field with a minimum 15 semester credit hours or 25 quarter credit hours in Early Childhood Education and minimum one year experience working with children from birth to 5 years of age.
