Special Education Teacher

The Schuylkill Valley School District has a vacancy for a Special Education Teacher at the Elementary School. This position is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the district's special education team program. Must have experience in learning support, instructional adaptation, effective interaction patterns, student discipline/behavior management, providing assistance for at-risk children, and assisting regular classroom teachers in meeting goals set by the special education team.

Special Education PA teacher certification, demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others and acceptable record of attendance are required. Minority candidates are encouraged to apply. EOE.
