Job Summary
The Associate Medical Director develops promotional medical education content directed (but not limited) to healthcare providers, patients, or internal pharmaceutical teams. This may include slide decks for physicians, advisory board materials, interactive PDFs, video scripts, flashcards/brochures, and other relevant content.
The Associate Medical Director creates high quality, client-ready materials that incorporate a deep scientific and product knowledge aligned with client strategy. The position interacts closely with other scientific and account team members to execute each project in line with a client�s strategic objectives and within the internal scope and expectations.
The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail and will have the ability to quickly process information, accurately translate it, and deliver to the target audience. Scheduling flexibility and timeline prioritization skills are essential for success in this role.
Job Responsibilities
and Skills Content Development Develop, write, and update content, as directed Develop, attend and report on advisory and conference programs, as directed Provide on-site support at advisory programs, key client meetings, congresses, or other events Strategic Insight Understand the competitive landscape, key health care providers and their roles as stakeholders Internal/External Engagement Coordinate with senior scientific staff Attend internal and external meetings, and update content as appropriate Interact with and provide scientific support to clients, as directed Business Development Support new business efforts, as directed Operations Travel required Home-based (remote) or NYC Office (candidate's choice) location Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 2-3 years medical writing experience, preferably in a health care marketing or communications agency internship, preceptorship or equivalent Ability to understand complex scientific and medical literature Ability to develop clear, concise, and consistent content Experience developing medical communications materials, including (but not limited to) slide decks, live and virtual advisory boards (agendas, meeting decks, summaries), speaker bureau materials and training, brochure and flashcards, and other relevant materials Works effectively within a team, including both internal and external partners Microsoft Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook) Master of Science, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent Disclaimer Woven Health Collective provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
