The Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced Medical Secretary to join our team, supporting specialist cardiology clinics across Hollywood, Joondalup and Mount . This is a busy and varied role where you’ll work closely with our cardiologists, patients and referring doctors to ensure our clinics run smoothly and our patients receive a positive experience from start to finish.
Regular travel between our clinics will be required.
What You'll Do
Coordinate specialist appointments, bookings and clinic schedules Provide high-quality administrative support to cardiologists Deliver friendly and professional service to patients and referrers Manage correspondence, enquiries and patient follow-up Process billing, Medicare, DVA and private health claims Prepare quotes, invoices and receipts Maintain accurate patient records using Health.
Track Liaise with GPs, hospitals and other healthcare providers About You You’ll be an experienced Medical Secretary who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in providing great service. You’ll bring: At least 2 years’ experience as a Medical Secretary Experience supporting specialist medical clinics Strong organisational and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and a patient-focused approach Sound knowledge of medical terminology – cardiology experience is highly regarded Experience with practice management software (Health.
