This position plays an important role in ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.

What You'll Do

Perform preventative maintenance on guestrooms, public areas, and hotel equipment. Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and work orders. Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, carpentry, and general repairs. Inspect hotel facilities and identify repair opportunities. Maintain curb appeal, exterior grounds, and public spaces.

Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and exterior maintenance as needed. Support life safety inspections and emergency preparedness activities. Work with vendors and contractors on maintenance projects. Maintain maintenance inventories, tools, and supplies. Partner with all hotel departments to support exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, or hotel engineering experience preferred. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, or carpentry preferred. Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and perform repairs. Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical environments. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency call responses as needed. Why GLMG Hotels?
