Job Description : To strengthen our ability to recover damage-related costs on our wagons, we are creating a dedicated Cost Recovery Expert role focused on claims management and customer re-invoicing.

Recovering costs caused by improper or violent use of wagons is a key lever for profitability. This role allows you to focus fully on this topic, take clear ownership, and develop into the internal expert for damage-related claims and cost recovery. The position offers high visibility, measurable business impact, and close collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders as we move from ad-hoc execution to a professional and sustainable cost recovery setup.

Your Mission : You will be responsible for ensuring that costs contractually payable by customers are consistently claimed, negotiated, invoiced, and recovered, directly contributing to EBITDA improvement. Your Key Responsibilities : Identify, review, and validate damage and cost cases eligible for customer recharge Manage liability and claim cases with customers Prepare and issue invoices for recharged costs Independently lead settlement and negotiation discussions with customers Handle correspondence with customers, insurers, lawyers, and other third parties Maintain accurate data in the ERP system Work closely with Customer Service, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams Actively contribute to improving cost recovery performance and KPIs Candidate Requirements: Strong interest in commercial topics, claims, and cost recovery Good technical understanding and ability to assess damages Persistent, assertive, and confident in negotiations Very good written and verbal communication skills in the local language Good English skills for international internal collaboration Proactive, well-organized, and able to work independently Team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership
