Cecil H. and Ida M. Green Foundation Postdoctoral Scholars Search - 2027

The Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics (IGPP) at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California San Diego, has two openings for Cecil H. and Ida M. Green Foundation Postdoctoral Scholars in any area of geophysics starting in 2027. The PhD awarded to the applicant must have a date no earlier than 3 years before the application deadline, and no later than 6 months after it, though the 3-year limit may be extended up to one year to allow for parental leaves.

The appointment cannot start until after the award of the PhD. This is an in-person position with primary work location on the UC San Diego Scripps Institution of Oceanography campus. We seek individuals who show evidence of producing, and continuing to produce, research in geophysics that is of the highest quality. Cecil H.

and Ida M. Green Foundation Postdoctoral Scholars will be 100% supported from the Green Foundation for Earth Sciences. Green Foundation Postdoctoral Scholars are encouraged to broaden their experience through interaction with other researchers at IGPP.
