Sr Systems Engineer

Job Title: Software Customer Engineer (Linux/Android) Experience: 3–8 years Role Summary: We are looking for a Software Customer Engineer to support and enable customers on embedded platforms based on Linux (Yocto) and Android. This role involves debugging, customizing software, implementing enhancements, and guiding customer-specific solutions, particularly in IoT and Automotive domains.

Key Responsibilities

Engage directly with customer teams to support integration, customization, and issue resolution. Analyse and debug issues across bootloader, kernel, middleware, and application layers. Implement customer-specific enhancements and optimize system behaviour to meet deployment needs. Reproduce field issues, drive root cause analysis, and collaborate with internal teams for fixes.

Share debug insights, best practices, and reusable solutions.

Required Skills

Experience in Linux (Yocto) or Android BSP development Strong C/C++ and debugging skills Linux device driver development and customization Proficient with debug tools such as gdb, logcat etc., Protocol knowledge: UART, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, Bluetooth Networking skills: iptables, ipsec, network management Preferred: Experience with Qualcomm tools like QXDM, QCAT, QFIL, PCAT etc.

, Experience in IoT or automotive platforms. Prior customer-facing or field engineering experience. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
